Refund Policy

1. Overview

We want every customer to get real value from KnowMine. If the service does not meet your expectations, this policy explains when and how you can request a refund. This policy, together with our [Terms of Service](/terms), governs the agreement between you and KnowMine.

2. Pro Monthly Subscription ($9.90/month)

7-day free trial: new subscribers receive a 7-day free trial; canceling during the trial incurs no charges

First billing cycle after trial: if the service does not meet your expectations within 7 days of the first automatic renewal, you may request a full refund (one-time, for the first month only)

Regular monthly cycles: the current billing period is non-refundable once started, but you may cancel anytime to stop the next renewal

How to cancel: Sign in → Account Settings → Subscription → Cancel Subscription

3. Pro Annual Subscription ($79/year)

14-day no-questions-asked refund: annual subscribers may request a full refund within 14 days of payment, for any reason

After 14 days: if you have consumed a significant portion of the service (e.g., more than 30% of the annual AI search quota), we reserve the right to decline the refund or issue a prorated refund based on unused portion

Upgrade scenarios: when upgrading from monthly to annual, any unused monthly balance is applied prorata to the new order

Downgrade scenarios: downgrades from annual to monthly take effect at the next renewal; no retroactive refund

4. Founder Lifetime ($199 one-time)

30-day no-questions-asked refund: Founder Lifetime customers may request a full refund within 30 days of purchase, for any reason

After 30 days: as a limited-inventory (first 100 customers) one-time product, Founder Lifetime is generally non-refundable after 30 days, except when:

- The service suffers a severe, long-unresolved outage

- We voluntarily discontinue KnowMine (in which case we will issue a prorated refund based on remaining value)

Seat mechanics: Founder seats are tracked in real time; a refund releases the seat back to the pool for resale

5. Free Tier

The Free tier involves no payment and is therefore not covered by this Refund Policy. You may delete your account at any time if you no longer wish to use the service.

6. Non-Refundable Situations

We reserve the right to decline a refund in the following cases:


• Accounts suspended or terminated for violating the [Terms of Service](/terms)

• Subscriptions obtained through fraud, trial abuse, or multi-account exploitation

• Requests made after the refund window stated in this policy

• Transactions already disputed or charged back through your card issuer or payment platform

7. How to Request a Refund

1. Email support@knowmine.ai

2. Subject line: [Refund Request]

3. Include in the body:

• Your registered email

• Order number (available in Account Settings → Subscription)

• Purchase date

• Reason (optional, but helpful for improving our service)


We commit to responding within 3 business days, and once approved, refunds will be issued to the original payment method within 5-10 business days. Actual receipt time depends on your bank or payment provider.

8. Dispute Resolution

If you disagree with a refund decision, please reply via support@knowmine.ai to continue the conversation, or request mediation by a mutually acceptable third party. We commit to handling every refund dispute fairly and transparently.

9. Changes to This Policy

This Refund Policy may be updated to reflect product or operational changes. Changes are not retroactive — purchases already completed are governed by the policy in effect at the time of purchase. Material changes will be announced by email or website notice.
